See what happens when you build a site
From one sentence to a live, multi-page site: the brief, the brand memory, the template, the audit, and why you can watch it happen.
You type a sentence. About five minutes later, you have a website. Here’s everything that happens in between, step by step.
1. The brief
If you onboarded with an existing site, we already read it: what you do, who buys it, your edge, where customers find you. You corrected anything that was off. If you started from scratch, the sentence you typed is the brief. Either way, the build starts from your brand memory: brand voice, palette, proof, contact details and banned words.
2. The template and the seed
Every site starts from a template and a design seed. The template sets the structure: what a services page needs, where proof goes, how a footer behaves. The seed picks type, palette and rhythm inside your industry’s ranges, then locks them across every page, so each business gets its own site. Rules we wrote after studying what makes AI-generated pages look AI-generated keep the seed in check. The rules win every time.
3. Page by page, in the open
The home page is drafted first and sets the design. The other pages then draft side by side and stream to your screen as they land. Close the tab and the job keeps running. Come back and it’s further along. A full site takes about five minutes.
4. The continuity audit
When the last page lands, an audit reads the whole site and flags anything that drifted: a different display face on one page, a footer that lost a column, a button that says something different in the nav. Most sites pass clean. If one fails, you see the note, and the fix is one instruction.
5. Facts
Any claim the draft can’t trace to your brand memory is marked unverified. Think a founding year, a client count or an award. You confirm it or cut it before the site can be published. The model is good at prose and bad at knowing what’s true about you, so we treat those as two jobs.
6. Every edit is saved
Click any text to change it inline (10 credits). Tell your agent to rewrite a page (60) and it runs in the background while you keep working. Every change is a turn in the site’s thread with a revert, and every page is saved before it’s replaced.
7. Publish
One click and a slug, and the site is live at your-name.wrksstudio.com as plain HTML and CSS on hosting we include. Its contact form posts straight into a leads inbox in your studio. Studio plans can attach your own domain. We show you the records to add and issue the certificate. Change something later and republish. The old version stays in your history.
The goal: a site that reads like a designer who knew your business built it. And you can change it from your phone.
